The Ramah Navajo Chapter Office of Grants and Contracts Community Development Department offers a variety of different essential services for the Ramah Navajo Community members.

Community Development Service Description
Powerline Extension Assistance
This assistance is available to the community members depending on the funding source. At this time, this project is completed for the community. If you need more information please contact (505) 775-7161
IHS Waterline Extension Assistance
CDD has IHS Waterline Extension Application Available for community members. These application can be submitted back to CDD or Mailed to IHS.
Bathroom Addition Assistance
Bathroom Addition projects are government funded projects. CDD and CHID work together to provide this service to the Ramah Navajo Community Members. This project is provided to the community depending on the funding status.
At this time we are working with 3 individuals and if there are enough fundings available we will contact some more individuals.
USDA 504 Grant Assistance
We are assisting our clients to complete the USDA 504 Grant Application and sent it to their office. The USDA 504 Grant qualifications are as follows; Must be 62+ of age and have a medical referral. The USDA 504 Grant assistance is a one time assistance program. For more information please call (505) 775-7000
Housing Assistance
At this time we are only accepting Public Rental Applications. We are not doing scattered housing assistances. We are also assisting our clients to complete a Southwest Indian Foundation (SWIF) Application. The SWIF assistance is a one time assistance program. These applications are available to you at our office.
