The Ramah Navajo Chapter, Office of Grants and Contracts gives Navajo Preference to eligible applicants, according to the Navajo Preference in Employment Act. To become eligible for Navajo Preference, submit a Navajo Nation Census document or other document proving Navajo Nation enrollment with your application before the closing date. Applications without the Navajo Nation Census document or other document proving Navajo Nation enrollment with an application will result in the applicant being ineligible to receive Navajo Preference under the Navajo Preference in Employment Act.
How to Apply for a Job:
- Click on the Job Listing Link to Review current job openings and the position description for the particular opening.
- Download, then fill out and sign the Employment Application Packet and the Release of Information Form. For each advertised position, an application packet is required.
- Mail or scan and email the signed Employment Application and Release of Information Form before the closing date. A resume may also be attached, but does not replace the Application Form. Personally deliver or mail the original signed Application and Release of Information Form before the closing date. Faxed Applications will be accepted.
- Also personally deliver, mail, or scan and email any certificates, degrees, commissions, licenses, or census documents proving eligibility for Navajo Preference before the closing date.
A Ramah Navajo Chapter employment application with certificates, degrees, commissions or licenses must be submitted to the Human Resources by the closing date. An application is required for each advertised position. Ramah Navajo gives preference to eligible applicants according to the Navajo Preference in Employment Act.
